Matua Pinot Noir 2011 wine review by (PB)

Cherry hue with nice aromas of cherry fruit with fragrant mentholated strawberry.

Palate--pleasant presence in the mouth with a palate cleansing acidity, spicy red berry fruit, subtle milk chocolate hint and white pepper.

Straight forward and tasty this New Zealand (Marlborough) Pinot drinks easily and simply. At $15 its what you would expect. I'll serve it with my baked cod this evening. Raise a glass!
