Trimbach Alsace Pinot Blanc 2008 Wine Review (NW)

Tasting notes:

Bright apple and lemon on the nose

Medium bodied on the palate

Silky finish of apple and citrus with good acidity

Summary:

Good, uncomplicated, bright and youthful still, even though the wine is five years old. The bottle was emptied very quickly with some house guests. Trimbach wines from the Alsace region of France are hard to beat for reliability and versatility. Pour this with just about anything and enjoy. The retail price should run around $15. Raise a glass!
