Louis Latour Chassagne-Montrachet 2003 Wine Review (NW)

Tasting notes:

Tropical fruit nose with lemon and honey accents

Fine grained, slightly creamy texture on the palate

Balanced finish with apple and wet stones

On the Chardonnay style spectrum, this wine sits in the middle. It has a very nice texture and underlying richness, but it's not overly oaked. The flavors are balanced and provide a perfect compliment to light fare. We enjoyed seafood in The Bahamas while nursing a bottle of this wine. It retails for $30 or so. Raise a glass!
